The rooms were comfortable with a private bathroom, and the staff was very kind and pleasant, plus the location was perfect, not too far from a shopping mall.

Location so close to the main square and volcano and lake and the amazing shops and restaurants downtown. Good sized units with private bathroom as well as AC, very amiable employees. Good services too.

Spacious and clean rooms with a private bathroom were a great feature. The location was perfect, right in the middle of the city, making it easy to walk to everything. the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting with organizing tours, transportation, and even laundry.

There were a few drawbacks worth mentioning. there was an issue with noise from heavy furniture being moved early in the morning.

I recently stayed at Sleeping Mountain Arenal for my vacation in Costa Rica. The hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants and supermarkets. The room was well-furnished and had lots of natural light, thanks to the many windows. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and there were also fans provided. The use of the kitchen, with a fridge and microwave, was a great convenience. The hosts, Marvin and Maria, were incredibly kind and helpful. They provided plenty of tourist information and even treated us to delicious guanabana fruit. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent amenities and hospitable hosts.

As backpackers, we loved the cozy and convenient location of Database Hostel. The main square is right next door, making it easy to explore the area. The hostel offers a kitchen for guests to use, which was a great way to save money on meals. The free coffee in the morning was a nice touch. The WiFi worked well throughout our stay. The staff at Database Hostel were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome and safe during our visit.

I recently stayed at Sleeping Mountain Arenal for two nights and had a wonderful experience. The hotel's location is fantastic, with easy access to Arenal Mundo Adventures, Don Juan coffee and chocolate tours, and downtown shops and restaurants. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always happy to assist with arranging transportation. Breakfast included delicious coffee and bananas, a great way to start the day. As a first-time traveler with a child, I appreciated the comfortable accommodations and the fun surprise of an animal towel on the bed. Highly recommended!
